Rescuing the biologist from the Lala Barina.

Research Notes:
Lala Barina are temnoceran Monster Girls inhabiting the Crimson Forest. They spin their crimson webs between the great trees and use it to bedeck the caves they make lairs of, creating part of the reason why the Crimson Forest gets its name. Their white fur, black carapace, and red rose of a thorax make them striking in their appearance. And together with their erratic yet graceful movement they may invoke the idea of a human dancer. From their thorax they can disperse red florets, coated in a paralytic venom. This has little effect on humans, but does tighten muscles significantly, also increasing sensitivity.
The threat they pose to humans is medium, as they will try to pick off travelers, or persons from trade caravans. These they will take back to their lair to be a sexual partner, to satisfy themselves with. A captive will be affected by their poison and brought to a state of constant bliss, a hunter needs to be wary around them to not get the florets on them.

Expedition Status
After establishing contact with the locals of the Windward Plains, the Guild Expedition sets out on a scouting mission to the Scarlet Forest while the in the process of building a relationship with Kunafa. During this scouting mission however, a biologist by the name of Erik goes missing, and a rescue mission is started.
