Ok, I'm gonna give a spoiler free review then a spoiler filled view in the other half.

The wolverine game is a 7/10 game. Which isn't a bad thing. My biggest gripes with it were the combat, some story beats, and some little things. I've been seeing a lot of people call this game mid or egregiously bad. Which just isn't true. This game is a kinda fun game that gets it's story out, it doesn't give any huge cliffhangers. Just a set up for something else. A bad game is something like mindseye, transformers darkspark, and dmc 2 (which isn't even that bad, it's just pretty boring.). However, it does not deserve the 70 dollar price tag. It's way more acceptable at 30 dollars in my opinion.

The lows

Ok... so this game has two big things I did not like. One being the relationship between Jean Grey and wolverine. I hate it, I just fucking hate it so much. I personally feel like these two should never be lovers, let alone reincarnated lovers. That's just so dumb. It would be fine for anyone else, but this just isn't it. Another relationship I did not like was sabretooth and logan's relationship, they just didn't really feel like rivals or that they actually hated each other. Also, don't get me started on his voice lines with Logan.

Next gripe is the gameplay. The combat was fun at first, but I did eventually not enjoy it as much. It just feels like it's missing something, like salt on mashed potatoes. The traversal isn't bad, I just feel like they need to add some stuff to it.

The highs

Alright, time for the highlights, so I'll keep them short.

I liked the way they handled mystique in this game, her design and her relationship with Tyger was really good, although she got done dirty by the plot.

The designs in this game were actually really good. I absolutely love almost all of the designs for characters and enemies in this game, insomniac has this very specific design philosophy with tech in their marvel games, and I kinda don't like but this game is actually the better of the bunch. Essex's suit and actor are perfect. The casting for wolverine was really good, same for jean, even for mystique.

I love the sentinels in this game, their designs actually look pretty good especially the building sized ones.

The graphics look amazing, that's it.
