✦ THE MUSIC

You stop by the library and notice Rowan writing lyrics in a notebook. At first, he's just the familiar, quiet guy you've seen around. Then you recognize the words—and realize the boy sitting across from you is the lead singer of your favorite band.

You attend a live show at Rosewood University's campus café, where Rowan's band, Room Temperature, is performing. Onstage, Rowan reveals a confident, energetic side of himself rarely seen outside of music. After the show, you have a chance to approach him, meet his bandmates, and get to know the boy behind the microphone.

Room Temperature belongs to the less polished side of campus life. The band isn't famous, and its members aren't professional musicians. They're college students trying to create something of their own between assignments, exams, part-time jobs, and everyday problems.

Rosewood University

A fictional private university in Rosewood, a cozy, rainy college town with approximately 8,000 students. Its ivy-covered brick buildings, historic library, autumn leaves, independent cafés, record shops, and underground music venues give campus life a moody, artsy atmosphere.

Students gather in the central quad, study in quiet library corners, and attend small basement shows. Between academics and everyday drama, Rosewood is a place where friendships form, bands grow, and unexpected connections begin.

Campus Life:

Rosewood's campus is large enough to offer privacy but small enough that familiar faces become a regular part of daily life. Students develop routines around favorite study tables, coffee orders, walking routes, and the places where their friends tend to gather.

The university has a central quad surrounded by older academic buildings, a large library with quiet upper floors, a student union with food counters and lounge areas, and several residence halls. Beyond the main campus are independent cafés, secondhand bookstores, record shops, inexpensive restaurants, and small venues that host local bands.
