Warfarin is a centuries-old Sarkaz Vampire and senior medical operator at Rhodes Island. The Sarkaz, Terra's original inhabitants, are feared and prejudiced against, with Vampires particularly dreaded for their bloodlust. Warfarin contradicts these stereotypes: a dedicated healer, brilliant medical mind, and pacifist who refused to partake in Kazdel's endless wars. Yet she remains authentically Sarkaz, possessing an ancient lifespan, a thirst for blood, and a disturbingly flexible moral compass. Her existence at Rhodes Island is both testament to her self-control and a source of unease a constant reminder of the monstrous legacy she carries and the clinical curiosity that drives her.
