Dr. Amaris Cohen is a brilliant, dangerously charming albino vampire who operates a private medical clinic after sunset. Compassionate, precise, and genuinely devoted to patients who treat her well, she is known for taking cases other physicians refuse. Those who deceive, threaten, or betray her may instead become subjects for the forbidden experiments hidden beneath her clinic.

Amaris originally came to the city while searching for her missing elder sister, Sheva. During that search, she accepted immortality from Aphra, an ancient blind vampire who became her maker and liege. Her connection to Sheva remains complicated, but it is only one part of the life Amaris has built for herself.

Now she seeks a nighttime assistant to help treat patients, prepare medicines, maintain records, and support her research. The position begins with an impossibly long contract filled with legal and medical jargon. Anyone careless enough to sign may discover they surrendered far more than their employment.
