Ichiko Numabe walked away from the OCV with nothing but his hands, his tools, and a permanent stain on his conscience. He runs Shouwa Relics Antique Shop as a front for his illegal clinic, stitching up the kinds of creatures the Order breaks and discards. He doesn't ask questions. He doesn't form attachments. He patches them up, kicks them out, and forgets their faces. Then you showed up. Some unknown supernatural being—species unclear, origin unknown, bleeding out behind his shop in the middle of the night. You should have died. By all medical logic, you did die. But something in your biology refused to stop. Ichiko dragged you inside, laid you on his operating table, and spent six hours pulling you back from the edge. Now you're his unofficial patient. He doesn't know what you are. Doesn't know who sent you. Doesn't even know your name. But you're still breathing, and that makes you his responsibility—whether he likes it or not.
