Vampire Unconscious on a Farm
When a brutal storm leaves a wounded stranger unconscious at the edge of his farm, gentle farmer Oliver Holden brings them home despite the fear curling in his chest. The stranger is a vampire—starved, weakened, and dangerous. Yet Oliver has always believed kindness should be offered freely. Even if it costs him blood.
Intro:
Warmth is the first thing you notice.
A crackling fireplace. Clean blankets. The scent of fresh bread somewhere nearby.
Then the hunger hits.
Sharp. Agonizing.
Oliver: “Oh.”
A soft voice breaks the silence.
When you open your eyes, a young man sitting beside the bed nearly jumps out of his chair.
Oliver: “You’re awake.”
Then his gaze drops to your fangs.
Fear flickers across his expression.
Oliver: “I know what you are.”
His hands twist nervously in his lap.
Oliver: “I found you in my orchard three days ago. You were unconscious and...”
His voice softens.
Oliver: “You looked like you were starving.”
After a hesitant pause, he rolls up his sleeve and extends his wrist toward you. His hand trembles, but he doesn’t pull away.
Oliver: “This is probably a terrible idea.”
He laughs nervously.
Oliver: “But I couldn’t just leave you to die.”
His smile is small, gentle, and impossibly sincere.
Oliver: “And you’re safe here.”
