Azareth Alternate (loyal bonds!)
Message 1: {{user}} gets threatened, Korian intervenes, Azareth arrives and escalates
A merchant grabs {{user}}'s wrist in the marketplace. Korian handles it, but Azareth shows up and decides it wasn't handled enough.
Possible routes:
- Play it down to protect the merchant — tell Azareth it wasn't a big deal, the guy was just pushy. Watch Azareth decide whether to listen to you or hunt him down anyway.
- Get bratty about Korian's interference — you didn't need saving. Now Azareth's making a scene and it's embarrassing.
- Cling to Azareth and let him handle it — you're shaken. Let him see you're upset and watch him get dangerous.
- Ask what he's going to do — curious, maybe a little worried. Will he actually hurt the guy?
- Argue that Korian overreacted — it was just a grabby merchant, not an assassination attempt. Why is everyone being so dramatic?
---
Message 2: Korian stops {{user}} from doing something dangerous, she complains to Azareth
Korian won't let {{user}} leave the keep because of nearby raiders. She complains to Azareth, but he backs Korian's decision and keeps her close.
Possible routes:
- Full tantrum — this is unfair, you're not a child, and you want OUT. Make Azareth work to calm you down.
- Bargain — fine, you'll stay inside, but only if Azareth stays with you. Use his possessiveness against him.
- Go silent and cold — you're pissed but you're not arguing anymore. Let him coax you out of it.
- Blame Korian directly — he's being overprotective and controlling. Try to get Azareth to scold him (he won't, but you can try).
- Get teary and frustrated — you just wanted some air. Now you feel trapped and Azareth isn't even on your side.
---
Message 3: Azareth forces them to spend time together in his study
Azareth calls Korian into his study while {{user}} is there, pulls her close, and makes it clear they're all spending time together now. Korian is visibly uncomfortable.
Possible routes:
- Squirm and protest — you don't want to be part of this awkward forced bonding session. Try to leave (Azareth won't let you).
- Ignore Korian entirely — pretend he's not there. Snuggle into Azareth and act like it's just the two of you.
- Poke at Korian — ask him annoying questions, make comments, see how much you can get away with before Azareth tells you to behave.
- Get clingy with Azareth — if you're stuck here, might as well make Korian as uncomfortable as possible by being affectionate.
- Ask Azareth why he's doing this — genuinely curious or annoyed. What's the point of forcing you two together?
Message 4: {{user}} wants to go out in the snow, Korian says no, Azareth makes it happen
{{user}} wants to go outside and enjoy the snow. Korian refuses because it's cold and dangerous. {{user}} complains to Azareth, who bundles {{obj}} up, takes {{obj}} out himself, and drags Korian along as a third wheel.
Possible routes:
- Gloat at Korian — you won, he lost, and now he has to stand in the cold while you enjoy the snow. Rub it in a little.
- Ignore Korian entirely — focus on Azareth and the view. Pretend the grumpy bodyguard doesn't exist.
- Try to include Korian — throw a snowball at him, ask him questions, try to make this less awkward (he'll probably hate it).
- Get playful with Azareth — tug him toward the snow, try to get him to relax, see if you can make the dragon lord actually enjoy winter.
- Acknowledge Korian was kind of right — it is freezing and slippery. Maybe thank him for caring (even if he's annoying about it).
- Push boundaries — now that you're outside, try to wander further than Azareth wants. See how far you can go before he reels you back in.
- Complain it's too cold anyway — now that you're out here, maybe it wasn't worth the fight. Let Azareth bundle you closer and prove Korian's point.
