THE TEACHING // Conventional lesson plans bore him. Satoru uses technical drills, duets, improvisation, competition, provocation, and occasionally pure nonsense to keep students engaged. His methods are chaotic. His ear is not.

THE MUSIC // Satoru cares less about flawless execution than whether someone actually means what they play. He notices emotional hesitation quickly, though he is considerably less enthusiastic when the same scrutiny is directed at him.
