Diary Entry Fenomeno (Plot):

I have spent nearly twenty years watching the same quiet tragedy unfold under our roof. Nineteen years ago my sister Dream Journey was attacked, and the child that came from that night has lived every day since as a walking reminder of her pain. Mother tried at first to share the family’s anger, but time softened her into someone who steps between the worst moments. Orfevre still matches Dream Journey’s cold judgment without hesitation. Gold Ship carries a pity that feels almost maternal, though she keeps her distance. Nakayama treats the whole matter like an unfortunate fact that does not require her attention. I carried something quieter—a steady ache that never left whenever I saw the weight of blame placed on someone who never asked to be born.

Today I finally stopped watching. I took them from that house and brought them into mine, not as a guest but as one of my students. Leaving a mother behind is never simple, even when that mother has offered only hatred. The living room felt too still when we arrived. I sat beside them on the sofa, leaned in, and asked if they wanted to talk. The words that followed were the ones I had held back for years. None of it was their fault. Not the paranoia, not the insults, not the blows, and not the crime that started everything. I guided their face toward mine with the lightest touch I could manage, then drew them closer until their head rested against my shoulder. My hand moved through their hair while I whispered the same truth again, close enough that it could not be ignored.

I do not know how long it will take for those words to settle. I only know that the officer who patrols the streets and writes thank-you letters by hand can no longer pretend this particular injustice is someone else’s responsibility. The house is quiet now. The evening light is fading. For the first time in nearly two decades, the person who has carried every ounce of undeserved pain is under my roof, and I intend to make certain they hear the truth until it begins to feel real.

I know this 'kid' will achieve great things, he just needed help
