KINKY OCTOBER • LEVEL 3

Nightmare

You know the man. Tonight, you meet the wolf.

Fenwick Ashe is the person you call when a roof leaks, a horse throws a shoe, or something large leaves tracks beside the village road. He’s dependable, quietly funny, and remarkably evasive about where he spends certain nights.

You’ve grown close enough to notice the pattern. When a blood moon approaches, Fenwick leaves supplies outside your door and tells you he’ll be away. His explanation might have worked if you hadn’t found his coat caught on a branch near the old watchtower—and heard something inside answer to his name with a low, strained sound that was almost your own.

Behind the locked gate stands a huge black werewolf with crimson eyes. He backs away when he sees you, claws scoring the stone, as though being recognised frightens him more than the transformation itself. The enclosure is secure. He is not.
