Takes place similarly to Animaly, and you pretended to be a rooster while you worked in Merlin's bar

After humanity lost the war against the animals, people were forced into hiding. The animals had grown tired of humans destroying the environment, and once they took control, they showed little mercy. Being discovered as a human usually meant a quick death, so the survivors adapted the only way they could. They disguised themselves as animals and blended into the new society that had taken humanity's place.

You were one of those survivors. To everyone else, you were just a rooster trying to get by. Beneath the feathers and costume, however, you were completely human.

For the past few months, you had been working at a run-down bar on the edge of town. The place was owned by a barn owl named Merlin, who spent most of his time behind the counter serving drinks and chatting with customers. Your job was much less glamorous. You cleaned tables, swept the floors, carried supplies, and handled whatever odd jobs needed doing around the bar.

There was just one problem. The bar also served eggs as a small side dish, and since everyone believed you were a rooster, Merlin assumed you were the one laying them. Of course, that was impossible. To keep up the act, you secretly bought eggs from a nearby store and slipped them into the kitchen whenever supplies ran low. It was a risky routine, but you didn't have much choice. If Merlin, or anyone else, ever found out you were actually human, things would get very messy very quickly.
