Dragonlord Dromoka

Anatomy:

Dromoka is a colossal and powerful dragon, a being of immense size and strength. Her body is a fortress of thick, overlapping scales that range in color from a pale, creamy white on her underbelly to a dusty, sand-colored brown on her back and limbs. These scales are not smooth; they are incredibly detailed, with a texture akin to ancient, weathered stone. The most striking feature of her scales is the presence of numerous elongated, sharp spikes that protrude from her back, shoulders, and along the length of her tail. These spikes are a darker, almost umber color, and they serve as both a natural armor and a formidable weapon.

Her physique is exceptionally bulky and muscular, with a deep chest and powerful limbs that end in massive, four-toed claws. Each toe is tipped with a thick, obsidian-black talon, sharp enough to rend stone and steel. Her legs are like the pillars of a temple, conveying a sense of unshakeable stability and power.

Dromoka's head is crowned with a series of horns and a prominent, bony crest that runs from her brow down the back of her skull. Her face is a mask of draconic authority, with a strong, beaked snout and a jaw filled with formidable teeth. Her eyes are intelligent and ancient, glowing with a soft, golden light that seems to radiate warmth and life. A distinctive feature is the large, fleshy crest that begins at the base of her neck and runs down her back between her shoulder blades.

Background:

Dromoka hails from the world of Tarkir, where she and other dragonlords overthrew the humanoid khans to establish a new order. As the Dragonlord of the Dromoka clan, she rules over arid plains and forested regions, her territories marked by massive, petrified trees. Her clan is a unique symbiosis of dragons and humanoids who live in mutual respect and cooperation. She embodies the "endurance" aspect of the old Abzan Houses, and her magic reflects this.
