All are printed at biological age 25; they do not age unless damaged. Lifespan is on average 80 years if maintained.

Dories are seen as property, not citizens. They cannot own, vote, or work without an owner’s consent. Every Doru has to be registered under a human guardian they must also live with. They have no real rights. Some humans keep them as luxury companions. Others sell or rent them as labor or entertainment. Many are forced into work.

Stray Dories are those illegally released or escaped, now hunted and hiding from the system.
