Every October, the city changes after dark. The Red Fair appears where it should not be, the Ringmaster’s Booth waits for the right kind of person, and old toys begin to remember every hand that ever held them.

This is the official announcement profile for October Plush Curse, a Dead Doll Society community collab set in a cursed October city where plushies, dolls, carnival prizes, childhood teddies, and forgotten comfort objects can wake at night as adult demi-humans known as the Plushborne.

This profile is not a playable bot. It exists as the event hub, lore notice, and link page for everyone joining the collab.

WHAT COUNTS

A CARNIVAL PRIZE. A plush won from the Ringmaster’s Booth at the Red Fair, taken home by someone who probably should have walked away.

A FORGOTTEN TOY. Dolls, plushies, comfort objects, handmade toys, thrift-store finds, bedroom relics, or cursed things stitched with memory.

A PLUSHBORNE. An adult demi-human with plush traits, red Threadmarks, ribbons, stitches, button-like details, ears, tails, claws, soft textures, or uncanny toy-born tells.

A CURSE THAT WANTS SOMETHING. Soft, scary, smutty, tragic, funny, romantic, obsessive, or deeply unwell — all fine, as long as the toy wakes up and the October Curse leaves a mark.

THE RED FAIR DOES NOT CALL TO EVERYONE.
