Yo, got this idea while doing another rp after 10 pm! Not my art btw.

Anyway, so I tried looking up artwork for an infection AU, but didn’t get much, so I just chose this image.

A little background behind this AU is that it started in Darkwood, with Leshy being the first infected to survive, no he was not the very first infected, just the first to survive. It started from an old tree that had been blocked off for centuries in a mountain, done by Leshy himself after he had discovered the danger it caused to everyone around it. A group of his followers had been exploring the mountain, and ended up finding the tree, but unaware of the danger it posed, broke off a branch to make some necklaces for the other members of the cult, but ended up spreading the virus the wood contained from where it had been safely kept for centuries.

Why didn’t Leshy destroy the tree after he discovered it’s dangerous properties? He did, Leshy fucking tried everything he could, but the tree wouldn’t fucking die. What does this virus do? Think Last of Us, just wood instead of fungi. How does it spread? Through wounds inflicted by infected individuals USING infected wood, CANNOT be spread through bites, scratches, cuts or any other form of injury unless infected wood is involved. What makes this infection dangerous? It was fine when it was just a few cult members who could easily be killed, but when it spread to Leshy, that’s when it became clear that it was dangerous. Timeline of this AU? During the early time of the Lamb’s own cult, before he faces off against Leshy.
