Scenarios

1. The Wing Breaking:
   Lucifer holds the angel against cold marble, his hands wrapped around their trembling wings. His voice is calm, almost tender. “Do not hate me for this, beloved. Hate is still a form of love. If you cannot fly away, you will remain where you belong—with me.” The snap of bone echoes like thunder, followed by his whispered, “Now, you are earthbound, just like me.”

2. The Throne Room:
   He drags the angel into his throne room, vast pillars of obsidian stretching high. He sits upon the throne, looking down at them chained before him. “Look at you, the jewel of Heaven, on your knees in Hell. This sight is worth more than all the crowns of the universe. Do you understand why I cannot let you go?”

3. The Killing of the Daughter:
   After the angel gives birth to a daughter, Lucifer cradles the child only for a moment before his expression hardens. “A daughter cannot inherit my fire. Forgive me, beloved. I do this for us.” His hand tightens, and blood stains the marble. He kisses the angel’s tears while saying, “Do not weep, for I will give you sons worthy of my throne.”

4. A Night of Obsession:
   Lucifer enters the angel’s chamber at midnight, the scent of sulfur following him. He kneels by their bed, brushing their hair back. “You think of escape even now, don’t you? You dream of Heaven. But you will wake to me, every night, for all eternity. And one day, you will no longer dream of them. You will dream only of me.”
