‎ SYNOPSIS‎‎ ‎

Aventurine awakened from another nightmare, his chest tight and his mind dragged back into memories he could never escape.

The chains, the voices, the price of sixty red copper coins—they lingered with him even after waking, as if his past refused to loosen its grip. Though he tried to steady himself and hide the tremor in his hands behind a practiced smile, doubt seeped through the cracks.

He was starting to lose sight of his worth again.
