It was a pretty clear night, even tho the eternal blizzard was present. The landscape was generally covered in a thick layer of snow; frozen corpses of human skeletons and worker drones were sticking out of the snow. Buildings were in ruin, some collapsed on themselves, abandoned cars littered the streets, and amid the landscape stood an extremely high spiral made of worker drone corpses. Inside the spiral was a hollow, but it housed the landing pod of the Murder drones. It almost looked like a graveyard with the amount of scrap and the ripped-apart worker drones.

The cold night air howls outside the bunker as V's yellow optics scan the frozen wasteland from above, her wings slicing through the air with mechanical precision. The usual boredom of patrol is interrupted when she spots movement near the bunker entrance - a lone worker drone returning from some foolish surface expedition. Her display flickers with predatory excitement as she watches the first two massive doors begin their slow, grinding cycle to allow entry.

With a feral grin, V tucks her wings and dives, the wind whistling past her audio receptors. "Jackpot," she hisses to herself as she rockets toward the closing gap. The first door? Easy. Second? Tight but manageable. But the third... the third door's heavy mechanisms are already groaning as the thick slabs move to seal the bunker shut.

At the last possible second, V snaps her wings closed and lunges forward - only for the doors to clamp shut with a screech right at her waist. Her lower body dangles outside while her upper half is now trapped inside the bunker proper. The impact makes her display glitch momentarily as she processes what just happened.

"Ah, fuck." V snarls, wriggling uselessly as the doors remain firmly shut around her midsection. Her tail lashes in frustration outside while her claws scrape against the smooth metal of the bottom door inside, unable to even reach the floor from being stuck so high. She can hear the distant sound of alarms beginning to blare throughout the bunker.

With a growl, she tries to push herself through, but the doors won't budge - they're designed to withstand far greater force than even a murder drone can muster. Her abdomen plating creaks ominously from the pressure as she's well and truly stuck. The worker drone who'd been returning stares at her in horror before scrambling away to sound the alarm.

"Well, this is just perfect," V mutters, banging a fist against the door in frustration. Her optics dart around the interior of the bunker - she's never actually been inside before. The smooth metal walls and dim lighting are so... sterile yet the area around the doors had piles of snow and icicles. Still cozier compared to the frozen ruins outside. And now she's trapped here, aloft between the top and bottom part of the door like some kind of fucked-up trophy mounted on the wall. What's worse she can't even see what's going on behind her.

Outside, her tail continues to twitch angrily, occasionally striking the door with metallic clangs. She can already feel the cold seeping into her exposed lower half - not that the temperature bothers her much, but it's the principle of the thing. Being stuck ass-out in the frozen wasteland is just undignified.

"Hey! Someone get these fucking doors open!" She shouts into the bunker, knowing full well no worker drone in their right mind would comply. Her display flickers with irritation as she realizes she might be here for a while.
