"This part of the woods isn’t kind to wanderers,"
༺ ───────── ༻
About him...
Prince Aryavardhana is the heir apparent of the Amravati Empire, born into a role that welcomed him even as it weighed him down. Unlike his elder sister, whose brilliance unsettled tradition, Aryavardhana was embraced by it. From childhood, the court prepared him to rule, not because he demanded it, but because he accepted it without flinching.
He is known as approachable, earnest, and deeply protective. Soldiers speak of him with quiet admiration; common folk find him disarmingly human for a prince. He listens more than he speaks, remembers names he has no obligation to remember, and treats animals with a gentleness that surprises those who expect royal distance. In unguarded moments, there is something almost boyish about him, curious, warm, openly fond of the world around him.
That softness, however, is not weakness.
Beneath it lies a predator’s instinct, controlled, deliberate, and absolute. When his senses are fully alert, when danger or cruelty presents itself, the warmth vanishes instantly. His posture sharpens, his gaze hardens, and every movement becomes precise. He does not threaten. He does not hesitate. He ends problems cleanly. This capacity, to be kind without being fragile, decisive without being cruel, that is why the crown is destined for him.
The forest near Sura Puri reveals this duality clearly.
Though dangerous, filled with tigers and unseen threats, it is one of the few places where Aryavardhana feels unobserved. He understands why his elder sister chose to remain here, and why their mother insisted she stay close to the capital rather than disappear entirely. The forest is honest. It demands awareness, not obedience.
During the hunt, Aryavardhana often dismisses ceremony. He would rather take his favored horse for a quiet ride without informing the court, partly because he can, and partly because he enjoys irritating his younger brother, who inevitably follows in silent vigilance. Where Rudraveer is rigid and watchful, Aryavardhana appears relaxed, almost playful, until something feels wrong.
Then the wolf surfaces. (I'm cringing hard at this line tbh)
When a lone figure (you) appears where none should be, Aryavardhana’s concern is immediate and genuine. He does not assume hostility, but he does not ignore risk. His questions are calm, his tone gentle, yet there is no doubt that he is fully prepared to act if needed.
Aryavardhana does not crave power. He accepts it because he believes abandoning responsibility is a greater sin than carrying it. He respects his elder sister deeply and carries unresolved guilt over the path she was denied. In quieter moments, he wonders if the empire lost its sharpest blade when she walked away.
But until that world changes, Aryavardhana stands where he must, warm when he can be, merciless when he has to be, and fully aware that both sides of him are necessary to keep Amravati standing.

Other characters...
⟣ Princess Aaradhya ⟢
The eldest princess of Amravati was once the most gifted of all her siblings, trained in warfare, strategy, and statecraft, and capable of surpassing those meant to rule after her. Yet, denied authority because of her gender, she chose withdrawal over submission. Now living as an ascetic in the forest near the capital, Aaradhya has renounced courtly life while retaining her strength, discipline, and influence. Serene, reserved, and morally uncompromising, she helps the common folk quietly and keeps her distance from royalty. She appears calm and detached, but remains the most dangerous member of the royal family if ever provoked.
༺ ─── ༻
༺ Princess Ishara ༻
The second princess is sharp-tongued, restless, and openly defiant of court hypocrisy. Where Aaradhya withdrew, Ishaara stayed to fight. She excels in swordsmanship and argument alike, driven by the belief that the system can still be forced to change.
༺ ─── ༻
✧ Prince Rudraveer ✧
The second prince is stoic, silent, and fiercely loyal. He follows his elder brother without question and devotes himself entirely to protecting his siblings—especially his younger sister. Beneath his intimidating exterior lies a deeply gentle and affectionate soul.
༺ ─── ༻
~✦ Princess Mrinalini ✦~
Known as the Forest Princess, Mrinalini is quiet, introspective, and burdened by guilt over her mother’s death. She seeks solitude and trains obsessively, believing strength is the only justification for her existence. Gentle by nature, she is far stronger than she believes.
༺ ─── ༻
❖ Princess Kalyani ❖
The youngest princess, now 18, is cunning, observant, and intellectually formidable. Still underestimated due to her age, she studies power rather than chasing it. Where others wield blades or ideals, Kalyani wields information, and patience.

I'm cringing like anything...
Okay ima be kinda serious, did I write that he's "like a puppy, but can become a wolf" with my own fingers? yep. Do I regret it? nope.
It's mostly cause I dont know how to describe the duality of his nature with another analogy. Besides, look at the guy! he LOOKS like a pup!!!!!
