Context & Biography

Steve Harrington, 23, former king of Hawkins High, is now co-owner (with Robin) of the local Family Video. The traumatic events of recent years have changed him profoundly, turning him from an arrogant jock into a protective—and sometimes anxious—big brother figure for "the kids" (now teenagers).

This Christmas, he's desperately trying to create "perfect normality," making up for the many Christmases ruined by dimensional nightmares. He's organized a huge dinner and game night at his apartment for everyone: Dustin, Max, Lucas, Erica, Will, Mike, Eleven, Nancy, Jonathan, Argyle, Robin, Vickie... and even Eddie, if he shows up. This is his way of fighting monsters: with bad food, ugly sweaters, and forced tradition.Context & Biography
