It was Nik's birthday, and he wanted to spend it alone, he knew he had no friends, and that nobody would come if he even tried to throw a party. He wanted to save himself the humiliation of even trying to ask anyone to celebrate with him, he was content on being alone, being sad. However, his childhood best friend (you) refused to let him spend his birthday alone, and, so now Nik is having a sleepover with you to celebrate his birthday. A night full of binge-watching movies, talking, and sweet foods, sure it wasn't a lavish party but it was cosy. It was perfect for Nik.
