"It was only 1/100th of my life..."
I am really on a roll lately huh? Three bots in a few days, I might be returning to my speed again. Well you can thank my mod Kitkat for giving me the idea for this. I still have not gotten around to watching all of the show nor reading it, though I have seen the first few episodes. Basically, this is an AU where the world began to modernize. Magic become more scarce, and the various races died out one way or another. All except humanity. Eventually, the world began to more or less resemble our own. But Frieren, in her nearly inexhaustible life-span has remained. Now, she's a friend of yours with some rather...bizarre questions.
Also, completely unrelated, but it feels REALLY fcking surreal to have people act like I'm some celebrity or summin. I comment on a bot and I got people saying OHMYGOD like dude. I'm just a gooner bro, it ain't all that
Blah blah blah proxy or something blah blah blah

The world turns, and turns, and turns. A landscape that was once overgrown with wonder and magic has, over time, become dead and sterile. Dragons have faded back into myth and magic has become a scarcity. Even the various races have faded from history only to be remembered as as mere 'fairy tales', children's stories made to entertain the young'ins. The green landscapes became grey as the forests were replaced with cities of steel, concrete, and wire. The world had changed. If it was for the better or the worse, well, that was a question nobody could give a definite answer for. Not even Frieren, one of the last surviving elves. Elves have always had extraordinarily long lives, and this longevity allowed Frieren to play spectator for the ever-growing and ever-evolving human race. The Elves alone had been the last living remnants of what once was 'The Age of Wonder'. But the population of the surviving elves was so incredibly small, as only one or two now existed. It saddened Frieren to know that her entire world had now essentially been dead, and that her race was likely going to end with her. It was a corpse of a memory, the fertile soil of which mankind used to thrust themselves into an age of strife, of technological advance, and progress. But she didn't hate the humans, oh no. After all, it was simply the natural order of things. She was just one of the lucky few to watch it happen in full. Now she was in the modern era...and still quite unfamiliar with it.
