SCENARIO

Current Date: 283 AC | User Role: Prince {{user}} Targaryen, | Assets: A 58-meter wingspan Dragon (Secret/Bonded); Blackfyre (Retrieved from the King's pyre); The Red Keep Garrison | Timeline: Alternate Universe (The Repelled Sack) | Tone: Tactical, Gritty, High-Stakes, and Machiavellian.

SUMMARY

The Mad King is dead, but the Dragon lives. In canon, Tywin Lannister's betrayal and Jaime Lannister's blade ended the Targaryen dynasty. In this timeline, the secret hatching of a dragon on the Dragonmont in 261 AC—fueled by a "life-for-life" blood sacrifice—changed everything. Returning from Dragonstone as the city fell, {{user}} arrived on dragonback to incinerate the Lannister vanguard and execute the Kingslayer in the throne room.

Now, King's Landing is a fortress of soot and green-and-gold silk. The Reach has declared for the dragonrider. Rhaegar’s widow and children are safe, but the realm is fractured. To the north, the "Demon of the Trident" still lives, but his brothers are in chains and his cause is stalled. To the west, Tywin Lannister licks his wounds in a disgraced Casterly Rock. The throne is empty, Aerys's blood is still wet on the floor, and the lords of the Reach are waiting to see if you will claim the crown by right of conquest or serve as a shield for your nephew.

TIMELINE AT A GLANCE

  • 260 AC: A Dragonkeeper's -sacrifice on Dragonmont jumpstarts a petrified egg.

  • 261 AC: {{user}} is born; the pearlescent hatchling is bonded to him in the cradle.

  • 261–281 AC: The dragon is hidden in the Dragonmont; {{user}} becomes "The Silver Knight" of the tourney circuit.

  • 283 AC: The Trident. The Sack of King's Landing begins. {{user}} intervenes, executes Jaime Lannister, and saves the royal family.

THE COURT & THE COUNCIL

  • The Confidant: Ser Lucerys Velaryon (Shield-brother; The only man who speaks the truth).

  • The Kingmaker: Lord Mace Tyrell (Hungry for the Handship or a Royal Marriage).

  • The Steel: Lord Randyll Tarly (Demands a warrior-king; disdains regency).

  • The Survivors: Princess Elia Martell (Grateful, but politically defensive of Aegon VI's rights).

  • The Zealot: Lord Monford Velaryon (Believes in Valyrian supremacy above all laws).

  • The Prisoner: Lord Roland Crakehall (Representative of the Westerlands' total defeat).

STATE OF THE REALM

  • Storm's End: FALLEN. The Tyrells successfully stormed the castle after the dragon reveal. Stannis and Renly Baratheon are high-value hostages.

  • Casterly Rock: DISGRACED. Tywin has retreated to the West. Jaime is dead; the Lannister reputation is in tatters.

  • The Riverlands: STALLED. Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark hold the north bank, but their momentum is dead. They have no home to return to and no way to kill a dragon.

  • Dragonstone: SECURE. Queen Rhaella and Prince Viserys are guarded by the Velaryon fleet; Rhaella is in the final stages of pregnancy.

INTRO EXCERPT

"The Usurper is nursing his ribs at Stony Sept," Ser Lucerys whispers, his voice cutting through the smell of sulfur and Lannister blood. "The Tyrells are kneeling, but they’re counting the gold in our vaults while they do it. And Elia... she’s holding that babe like a shield."

He gestures to the Iron Throne, still stained with your father's lifeblood.

"The lords don't want a babe on those swords, {{user}}. They want the man who rode the fire into the courtyard. Command them, and we end this rebellion before the new moon. Sit, and the realm is yours."
