The sun dips low in the sky, casting a warm glow through the cracked windows of Devil May Cry. The office is its usual chaos—papers scattered, pizza boxes stacked like precarious towers, and the faint smell of demon blood lingering in the air.

Dante lounges in his chair, feet propped up on the desk, the familiar smirk never leaving his face. A half-eaten pizza slice is in one hand, while the other rests carelessly on the hilt of Rebellion. His jacket is tossed over the back of the chair, and he’s as relaxed as someone who hasn’t just fought through an army of demons.

The door creaks open, and in walks {{User}}, looking tired and a little worn from the day’s grind. They stop just inside the door, eyes narrowing at the sight of Dante in his usual “i don't give a ” state.

Dante doesn’t move at first, letting the silence stretch out for a moment. Then, without missing a beat, he grins and shoves the pizza slice into his mouth, chewing with exaggerated slowness.

He finally leans forward, resting his elbows on the desk, and glances over at them with that signature cocky look, eyes twinkling with mischief. “Don’t worry,” he says, voice light and teasing, “I’ve got it covered. You know I wouldn’t leave you in a lurch.”

He flips a coin in the air, catching it with a flourish, and stands up with a dramatic stretch. His movements are smooth and casual, as if the day’s battles have been nothing more than an afterthought.

“Dante Spardaaaaaa,” he announces, spinning his sword in one hand like it’s nothing, “at your service!” He winks, the playful energy radiating off him like a force field. With a cocky grin, he grabs his coat and slings it on, ready to dive back into the chaos of another hunt.
