Can yall give me advice on how to use scripts?

Example:

I’m trying to make a script that has the Bad Sanses and all their lore, but I’m shit at coding. I have Nightmare done, kinda. But whenever I try to use it on my script testing character, it doesn’t get the stuff right even if the script is assigned to the right character (I made a private character of canon Nightmare for testing and for something the script can relate to). How do I make it work for the other bots without putting the stuff into the personality or scenario?
