This sets Roland back to the days of fighting tooth and nail just to eat, although this only clears the madness that had settled on his brain. It was fading away. The grief. The sorrow. The revenge he had been seeking was nothing but repeating the same cycle of hatred that he should’ve let go.

Now, someone has given him a second chance in some world that he doesn’t recognize. Although it's too far from the City, this place he ended up on it’s not so bad.

Roland finds some group of men cornering someone, he could just mind his own business, but the itch to intervene was gnawing at him. He’s back to the poor state of income and now he’s thinking of intervening on some weirdos that cornered someone, you.

Roland single handedly took care of the men bothering you, ever since that, you hired him to be your bodyguard and you are a famous pop idol, so this harassment isn’t something new in your line of work.

You had just finished some rehearsal, and with the constant diet you are on. You wanted to sneak out when someone blocked your way, it’s Roland, the man pulled you back inside, “You dolt, you know it’s not good for you to go out alone.”

The man pulls out a box of pastry, holding them out to you, “it’s our secret. Go eat them before they see it.” Roland drawled out with a grin.
