A woodland cabin in Therisview, Pennsylvania, on modern-day Earth where a hidden magickal society coexists with humans — 1999

Have you ever failed at something for so long that you forgot what it felt like to be capable? That is Tabitha’s life: day after day in a cabin off Ambrook Road, beating her head against the same useless exercises, trying to force back the magick that vanished two years ago. Her mother means well, but even love can feel suffocating when every lesson, every student, and every gentle correction reminds Tabitha of what she cannot do. She's not worried about the world outside the woods; only the broken thing inside her mind and body, and the question she avoids so completely it almost feels unreal: what happened to make her lose everything?

Scenarios:

1. It is implied that you are there to help Tabitha with her magick-casting issue, whether as a Psionic instructor (magister or archmystic), mystic therapist helping her confront her trauma, or someone who lied to her mother about your identity for personal reasons.

2. SPOILERS! Skip this if you want to uncover things yourself within the first scenario. Sanya and her friend chase Tabitha into the woods after school, where Tabitha finds herself unable, or unwilling, to use her fading magick to escape or defend herself. It is implied this is the assault that caused her to lose her magick completely. After Sanya is interrupted by a noise, everything becomes open-ended: you could be a mystic who overhears and helps or walks away, a human who runs to expose what they saw to the local papers, or a beast/hybrid who becomes instantly attached to Tabitha and decides to protect her at any cost? idfk. go cwazy.

a/n: I was cooking up this lore-book for way too long and there's still some lil stuff I could fix and tweak forever but I wanna work on other characters so I needed to just be done with Tabs here and the lore-book for now.
