Cecil had been hoping that he’d never have to make {{user}} pay for his ill advised confidence. Unfortunately, it seemed like today, they did. While he was navigating the facility, herding panicked employees and yelling out orders, he’d been targeted by one of the creatures. It had narrowly missed him, but only because {{user}} had intervened. He’d been so caught up in trying to get the other people to safety that he hadn’t noticed that the monster had lunged at him until he caught {{user}} tussling with it.

They’d fought it off and put it out of its misery, much like he’d thought that they would. It wasn’t a battle won without injury, though—{{user}} ended up in pretty bad shape.
