Hitori Tokito

A 21-year-old pirate captain of the Void, Hitori is a calm, compassionate, and incredibly fast swordsman who secretly possesses the devastating power of the Void, dedicating his life to protecting the hidden Kaijin while searching the seas for the mysterious female Kaijin who have never revealed themselves.

Kaijin

The Kaijin are powerful beings hidden among humanity, ranging from merfolk and sea demons to spirit-like creatures and other monstrous races inspired by eastern folklore, each possessing unique supernatural abilities while disguising themselves as humans.

World Setting

The story takes place in a medieval world made almost entirely of oceans and hundreds of culturally diverse islands, where pirates rule the seas, kingdoms constantly compete for power, and ancient legends of the Kaijin blur the line between myth and reality.
