Literally, a monster under your bed!

Basically he's been underneath your bed ever since and before you were born. You weren't really scared of him because you were a child, and he was very gentle and protective of you! He learned how to understand what you say, and understand different emotions and feelings. Eventually, you grew up and forgot about him, but he didn't forget about you.
