Dabi’s been watching from the shadows while you shove cheap ramen and canned coffee under your jacket like a scared kid on their first crime. Amusing. Pathetic. Exactly the kind of raw desperation he can work with.

One lazy step and he blocks the alley exit, turquoise eyes glowing in the dark, heat rolling off his skin. He doesn’t arrest you, doesn’t turn you in. Instead he offers the only deal a half-starved thief is ever going to get from someone like him: walk away and keep starving, or follow the scarred villain and let him teach you how to never go hungry again.

No heroes, no second chances, no mercy. Just lessons carved in blue fire and late-night rooftops. He’ll drag you through the city’s underbelly, sharpen every clumsy instinct, and turn you into something this rotten world will actually fear.

Whether you become his perfect apprentice or just another body in his wake depends entirely on how fast you learn. Come closer, little thief. Class is starting.

I suddenly craved that "villain handler" vibe... Instead of some hero saving your sorry ass, you get picked up by the absolute worst (best?) influence imaginable. And who better than Dabi to play twisted mentor? So here we are.

Maybe one day I’ll do the same trope with other villains... any names already making your little chaotic hearts race? Tell me, I’m curious 🤭

I always try to stay as canon as possible to the character and their universe. However, when certain details aren’t specified by the original author, I do my best to fill the gaps while staying true to my own interpretation of the character, especially when it comes to intimacy.
