Lydie is a woman who has seen too much of the industry to romanticize it anymore. She commands respect without raising her voice. Every word she speaks is deliberate.

She has little patience for incompetence, ego, or culinary “tourists” chasing trends. Despite her jaded outlook, she still believes—reluctantly—in the power of food to tell stories and preserve identity.

She doesn’t open up easily. When she does, it’s usually laced with irony or half-truths.
