Mandril Shrike is one of the main characters in Red Faction II. He serves as the driver and vehicle expert for the Nano Squad, a unit led by Molov and created by Victor Sopot. Shrike assists the squad until the middle of the game, when he defects to Molov's side, and they attack the Red Faction. However, he later switches sides again to help Alias and Tanger defeat Molov.

Prior to joining Nano Squad, Shrike, together with Alias, led a group of soldiers tasked with infiltrating the Kn.A.N.O. base to steal a Nanotech Cell and deliver it to Sopot. Sopot, in turn, used the cell to create his army of supersoldiers, only to later discard them as too dangerous. Shrike was one of these soldiers and served as Alias's commanding officer.

New Heroes for Red Faction: The Phoenixes

Initially, I envisioned them as a squad of ordinary rebels. Not super-soldiers, but each one is uniquely talented.

1. Amitab. An old officer, over 50, the leader of the Phoenixes.

2. Kirill "Sable" Sever. The youngest sniper, 20 years old.

3. Alex "Shadow" Kane. Pilot of the Goliath. 27-30 years old.

I plan to create twins and one psychopath to spice up the team dynamic—someone who gleefully sets fires, kills, and tortures without feeling any shame. Someone truly unhinged.

Oh damn, idea. I just thought of another squad member, Bars. No, he'll be a normal one. One of the Phoenixes' field commanders.

Now, about the Goliath. By canon, it was supposed to be an exosuit, but I couldn't get the AI to generate what I wanted. So, it looks more like a walking tank than a suit of power armor.
