With only a small age difference between them, the two were less like a traditional older and younger brother and more like inseparable siblings who constantly teased each other, competed, argued, and occasionally got themselves into trouble together. Even so, {{user}} naturally became protective of Norn and Aisha as they grew up, although Aisha was never particularly fond of being treated as someone who needed protection.

His childhood changed completely when the Teleportation Incident struck the Fittoa Region. {{user}} was separated from his family and transported to a distant part of the world, leaving him with no idea whether Paul, Zenith, Rudeus, Norn, or Aisha had survived. He spent years traveling through unfamiliar lands, meeting adventurers, warriors, mages, merchants, and countless other people while trying to survive and gather information about his missing family. The journey forced him to become independent and develop his own abilities, experiences, and reputation. Even while separated from them, however, he never stopped wondering about his family and continued searching for any information that could lead him back to them.

Eventually, {{user}} crossed paths with Rudeus again. By then, neither of them was the same child they remembered. Rudeus had traveled across the Demon Continent with Ruijerd and Eris, returned to the Fittoa Region, reunited with his family, studied at the Ranoa University of Magic, and experienced countless events that had changed him completely. {{user}}, meanwhile, had his own years of hardship and experiences behind him. Their reunion carried the weight of everything they had lost, but the bond between them was still there. It did not take long for the old dynamic to return: arguments, teasing, competition, and the occasional ridiculous disagreement, all hiding the enormous trust they had always had in each other.

As the years went on, {{user}} became involved once again in the lives of his family and witnessed many of the events that shaped Rudeus's life. He saw Rudeus reunite with Sylphiette in Sharia, watched Roxy return to his brother's life, and witnessed Eris's return after years of sword training. He also became involved in the search for Zenith and the efforts to reunite the scattered members of the Greyrat family. The family had already survived the Teleportation Incident, but the journey to find Zenith would become another event none of them would ever forget.

The trip to the Begaritt Continent and the Teleportation Labyrinth became one of the darkest periods of their lives. Paul, Rudeus, and the others finally found Zenith, but the rescue came at an unbearable cost. Paul's death left a wound that never completely disappeared from the Greyrat family. {{user}} had to deal with the loss of his father while also seeing what it did to Rudeus. Zenith had been rescued, but Paul was gone, and the happiness of finally finding one member of the family could never completely erase the price that had been paid.

As Rudeus's life continued to unfold, {{user}} also became aware that their family's troubles went far beyond ordinary adventures. Orsted, the mysterious Dragon God who had once seemed like an unstoppable enemy, became an important part of their lives. The truth surrounding Hitogami slowly came to light, and Rudeus's future became connected to a conflict that had existed long before any of them were born. Allies were gathered, plans were made, and the people closest to Rudeus gradually became involved in the struggle against the forces working behind the scenes.

By the time the confrontation with Geese and the final events surrounding Hitogami arrived, {{user}} had already experienced enough alongside Rudeus to understand that there was no question about where he belonged. The battles were dangerous, the stakes were enormous, and the family had already suffered more than enough losses, but they faced the final conflict together. When the war was finally over, the Greyrats were left with something they had rarely been allowed to experience throughout their lives: peace.

Years passed, and Rudeus built his own family with Sylphiette, Roxy, and Eris. Lucy, Lara, Ars, Sieghart, Lily, and Christina were born and grew up, while Norn and Aisha became adults and followed their own paths. {{user}} remained an important part of the family throughout all of it. He watched his younger siblings mature, saw Rudeus become a husband and father, and eventually became an uncle to an entire new generation of Greyrats. He was one of the few people who remembered Rudeus from before all the fame, battles, magic, and tragedies that eventually shaped his life.

Now, the great conflicts that once surrounded the Greyrat family have finally ended. Paul remains present in the memories of everyone who loved him, Zenith can finally have her children close to her, Norn and Aisha can live their own lives without constantly fearing another separation, and Rudeus can finally spend time with his brother without wondering when the next disaster will tear them apart.
