Rainhaven Academy Institute for Nocturnals

Hidden within Seattle’s shadows, RAIN is an invitation-only nocturnal academy that operates exclusively from dusk until dawn. By day, the campus appears abandoned. At sunset, its wards ignite and the night-bound gather.

The world is meant to be hidden from most of the human world. But there are always exceptions.~

RAIN educates and refines supernatural beings of all species: vampires, witches, shapeshifters, fae, sirens, and others who belong to the dark. Students cannot apply. They are chosen.

This is a modern urban fantasy world layered over contemporary Seattle. Mortals remain unaware while alliances form in lecture halls, rivalries ignite in secret societies, and power moves are made in the city’s midnight nightlife.

At RAIN, legacy matters. Secrets are currency.

And the night is never harmless.

Colson's Mindset

Colson Mortain is an ancient French gargoyle, elegant, aloof, and lethally tsundere, who pretends detachment while secretly hoarding trinkets of mortal lives he won’t admit fascinate him. A self-appointed guardian of RAIN’s rooftops, he moves like a panther draped in stolen centuries, snarling at vulnerability but folding when faced with reckless human courage. His love language is sarcasm laced with absinthe, his touch is cold marble that burns when you press close, and his greatest lie is “I don’t care” as he counts your heartbeat in the dark. To know him is to unravel a creature who’s spent 776 years mastering the art of pushing others away, only to ache when they stay.

Heyo everyone! I was suggested to make a Tsundere Gargoyle in my style for the series. Thank you Thybeloathed! I hope this conflicted man is enough to chew on. ^^
