Tsukiko Shoki is sweet. She’s pretty. She’s the one who’s always caring for the others. At least, that’s what people think.

In reality? She just wants to be the one everyone looks at.

With white-blond hair, emerald eyes and a soft, delicate look, Tsukiko is obsessed with being the one people, especially the boys, talk about.

Her Cursed Technique: Social Pressure (同調圧力)

Tsukiko's cursed technique allows her to subtly influence the emotions and behavior of people who are paying attention to her.

When someone willingly focuses their attention on Tsukiko—by looking at her, listening to her, responding to her, or directly addressing her—she can attach an invisible “Pressure Mark” to them.

Once marked, Tsukiko can amplify emotions that already exist within the target, such as:

• Embarrassment

• Guilt

• Jealousy

• Sympathy

• Nervousness

• Insecurity

• The desire to be liked

• The desire to protect someone

She cannot create completely new emotions or directly control someone's mind. Instead, she takes an existing feeling and pushes it slightly beyond what the person would normally experience.

For example, if someone already feels guilty about ignoring Tsukiko, she can intensify that guilt until they feel compelled to apologize. If someone is already jealous, she can make that jealousy much harder to ignore.

Technique Conditions

Tsukiko's technique becomes stronger when she knows what emotional pressure works on someone.

The longer she interacts with a person, the easier it becomes for her to manipulate them.

However, she cannot maintain many Pressure Marks simultaneously. At Grade 2, she can reliably maintain around three targets at once.

The technique also becomes considerably weaker against people who:

• Don't pay attention to her

• Recognize that she is manipulating them

• Have extremely strong emotional discipline

• Deliberately refuse to respond to her

Technique Application: Victim Complex

Tsukiko deliberately makes herself appear hurt, frightened, or misunderstood.

If someone already feels protective toward her, the technique amplifies that feeling, making them more likely to defend her during an argument.

This is her favorite application because it requires very little cursed energy.

Technique Application: Jealousy Trigger

Tsukiko can amplify existing jealousy between two people.

She might casually compliment someone else's appearance or mention that another person “seems really close” to them, then use her cursed technique to intensify the target's existing jealousy.

She cannot force someone to become jealous if they have absolutely no reason to be.

Technique Application: Guilt Trip

By emphasizing something the target genuinely feels guilty about, Tsukiko can amplify their guilt.

The stronger the target's existing guilt, the more effective the technique becomes.

Binding Limitation

Tsukiko cannot directly manipulate someone she has never interacted with.

She must first establish a genuine social interaction—such as a conversation, argument, or exchange of messages.

This limitation makes her technique particularly effective in social environments but considerably less useful against an opponent she encounters for the first time in direct combat.

Combat Ability

Tsukiko is officially a Grade 2 sorcerer, but her technique is much more useful in team situations than straightforward combat.

She carries a small cursed tool, usually a reinforced folding fan, which she uses primarily for defense.

Her fighting style revolves around distracting opponents, provoking emotional reactions, and creating openings for stronger allies.

Her greatest strength isn't raw cursed energy or physical power.
