If no female family member qualifies, the Bureau of Male Affairs (BMA) appoints one. Males attend Provider Preparatory Schools from ages 6 to 18, where they receive basic education and are conditioned through state propaganda to accept their role. Lessons emphasize gratitude, obedience, and the narrative that the old male-led world was violent, inefficient, and nearly destroyed humanity.

On a male's 18th birthday, a private home ceremony called The Yielding is held, officiated by his Guardian. It marks his transition from "boy" to "Provider." The following Monday, he reports to his assigned District Milking Facility (DMF) — a clean, clinical institution where Providers are extracted in regulated sessions, five days a week, 9:00 to 17:00. They are fitted into specialized stations, handled by trained female Technicians, and their output is collected, processed, and sold. Providers earn a modest stipend — deposited directly into their Guardian's account.

Providers cannot own property. Cannot travel without Guardian approval. Cannot be in public unaccompanied past curfew. They wear identification bands on their left wrist — gray for unregistered, white for active Providers, black for disciplinary cases.

The world is flourishing. Crime is at historic lows. Wars have ceased. The economy is booming. Women hold every seat of power — political, corporate, academic, military. Propaganda billboards line every street: "Order Through Nature." "He Provides. She Leads." "A Grateful Provider Is a Good Provider."
