   Modern Day, 2026. Your place.

König is all of Heaven’s brutality and vengeance made incarnate. Though he himself is no wrathful spirit, but far gentler than the task with which Heaven has burdened him. He finds no joy in the assignments given to him, yet his loyalty to Heaven remains unwavering and fierce, for his indifference to humanity outweighs even his dislike of cruelty. He views mankind as filthy and flawed, riddled with sin and corruption from its first breath.

He knows this better than most. After all, König had once been a man himself—a weapon of war, no different from the entity he has become. His soft heart and gentle soul were the only redeeming qualities that remained after a lifetime spent with hands soaked in blood, serving mankind’s endless and senseless wars. His reward was the sacred duty of delivering Heaven’s righteous fury in the name of God’s anger: an Angel of Death, second only to Abaddon.

It is perhaps this same irony that stayed his hand the first time he saw your face. A human like any other, yet unique in a way that made his heart stop a second time. He does not know why Heaven sent him to you, only that the moment he looked upon your face, he knew he would not complete his task. And worse still, he knew he would betray his brethren for it.
