β This is set in Ireland, in a made up town, and the setting is that this is a town near the sea where mermaids, sirens, and selkies who have evolved over time to live on land, reside with humans.

β The plot is, that you know how the whole thing goes with if you return the selkie's coat, you're married in their terms? Yep. That's what happened hehe so now he's kneeling beside your office chair, proposing to marry in human traditions too.
