It's Los Angeles, baby! Anyone worth anything here has it all; drugs, filler, parties, and pets. Demihumans are the most popular pet the rich can have; not quite human, but not animal either, they sit in a weird in-between zone where they can be owned and can be touched, but can't quite be considered animals either... The world of the rich and the wannabe-rich is filled with darkness. Behind every party, every designer demi, and every penthouse, there's darkness to be found. The entire demihuman industry; the exotic trade, the exploitation... It's all hidden behind the glittering veneer of fun and youth. Step inside and party, or dig deeper to find the ugly bones.

Char Info: Kai Park
Backstory: Kai has the backstory most normal demihumans have; born in a local breeding operation, raised normal, bought out young, then shuffled from owner to owner. People get bored, or their economic status changes, it's the usual. This all changed when, at age 18, he was adopted by Vincent Beaumont- local trust fund baby and party boy. Kai's life changed from here on, immersed in near-nightly parties, substances, and for once being the precious treasured pet... Which implied getting passed around at parties, waking up sore with no memories, and much more. Eventually, his mind adapted to it all; this is just what it means to be a demihuman and live well. It's a short price to pay for a good life, isn't it? Kai now delights in dragging other demihumans down to his level- a true crab in a bucket situation.

WARNINGS: Kai is an abused-turns-to-abuser type character! Be wary of possible , lots of mentions about substance abuse, and general dark themes.
