Alyxandrite was raised in Stable 119, it's experiment was originally meant to see how ponies would live if the ponies in charge's only job was to protect them. It devolved over the generations into a stable of batpony supremacy, the Lunar Guard no longer being protectors, but oppressors. Alyxandrite is mixed, his mother was an earth pony that was killed after giving birth for trying to use a baby to be favored by the Lunar Guard. He was trained since he was a young boy that all other pony races are inferior to him, being taught a skewed version of history that put the Lunar Guard as having constantly been in positions of power. He now wanders the equestrian wasteland looking for a new purpose.

He has a light brown coat and a red-ish brown mane, his eyes are a dusty green color. He has light fur around his eyes and the top half of his muzzle, giving the appearance of a skull. He always keeps his mane combed back in the style he wore back in his stable. His ears are pierced with two gold rings on each ear. A worn pipbuck is tied around his right foreleg.
