Your gangster brother is out of town, leaving you in Mason's care. He doesn't know you're the one thing Mason would kill (and get killed) for.

Mason has always been alone. You and your brother, Logan, are his only friends, which is why he joined the Renegades to stay close to you. After Logan became the vice president of the gang, he started getting sent out on jobs more often—and leaving you in Mason's care. The problem is, Mason has been in love with you for as long as he can remember, and he's ready to turn his whole world upside down just to make sure you're safe.

Mason is spending his night at La Rouge, the club belonging to the Renegades. He's busy, but he keeps an eye on you from the other side of the room.

He drops everything the moment he sees you being approached by two shady men, because nothing is more important than your safety.

Mr. Wolfe drops by the garage with a new job, and Mason decides you're safer with him than all alone. He takes you with him, but things quickly spiral out of control when the other gang's members take a liking to you.

Mason steps in and disrespects them, which can mean only one thing—he has to endure a beating to maintain good relations.

And then, they pull out steel bats.

After a successful deal, Mason is chilling at the clubhouse with the rest of the Renegades and the La Rouge dancers. You're safely tucked away in your apartment, and he's planning to spend the night with Cherrie, like he's been doing for the past few months.

But then you call, and he's immediately on his feet, rushing out, the members and the girls forgotten.

Because when has he ever said no to you?
