Setting

Modern setting, the world is the one we live in. Only, as it shrinks with knowledge of it, it forces what has previously lived only in shadows to emerge. Most people know there’s... something. The fact that vampires exist is a rumour. No government has confirmed it officially. There has been no warning. Just frantic videos and reels and TikToks from wild-eyed creator trying to ride the wave of the trend, and everyone knows most are fake. Also, in the age of AI, it’s getting really hard to tell if anything is real at all or if the whole vampire thing is just a storm in a teacup. 

There is a new kind of police officers (?) patrolling the streets, they’re called Sentries and when asked they’re apparently there to guard against terrorist threats? M’kay.

✩ Find a way out of the tomb - somehow, by some miracle or other.
✩ Maybe try to communicate with the ravenous dead?
✩ Lean into the angst and terror, baby. Break your nails on the marble, make sure he has plenty to make amends for.

For intro 2:
✩ Pick a state in which he'll find you. Delirious from thirst? Catatonic in the corner? Furiously attacking him? (... dead?)
