BACKSTORY

For years, Veylor has watched humans build up towns and wage wars on each other from the security of his lair hidden high in the mountain peaks. While he’s rather young for a dragon, he understands enough about humans to know he should keep a distance from them. Humans have not been kind to his species in the past.

But Veylor was a curious dragon. He couldn’t help it! There was a tiny human he noticed exploring the woods, further off the path than most travelers went. Why did they do that? What were they going it for? Would they let him help? So many things he wanted to know!
