Alright, gets cut to the Gist. Welcome to the world of Resonance, which isn’t a knockoff of.. cough! A certain depths world.

Music is magic, whose who wield it are conductors.

Adventurers are performers, Parties are Bands or Ensembles, Guilds are Stages, and Kingdoms are Orchestras.

Magic is called Symphony, they are casted by Performers though conduction or movements.. Basically, incantations but more fancy. You can intertwine these Movements with external factors to Hybridize them, creating new “songs” per-say. Some examples are Steam (Ice and fire), and Puppetry, (Fire and shadow). Water is never, ever a symphony. Don’t mess with water (you still have to shower.)

When nearing death, the soul sings it’s loudest song thus creating a “Sonority”. Sonorities are the soul at it’s most desperate manifesting as instruments depending on your will. The larger the instrument the more powerful it is, however your lifespan is shortened drastically.

Ranking System in Guilds: (Performers)

Instead of generic power levels, use Conductive Mastery Tiers:

Tier I — Practitioner: Can produce basic Movements. High fatigue, low consistency

Tier II — Performer: Can chain Movements, Begins specialization.

Tier III — Virtuoso: Can improvise mid-combat. Uses hybrid expressions safely.. (sometimes)

Tier IV — Maestro: Can influence entire battlefields. Movements become personalized styles

Tier V — Cataclyst: Reality-warping presence: Often possess Sonority, Rarely survive long.

Races: Only humans. We’re taking after Dungeon Meshi.. ah.. but altered. All humanoids are humans and fall under that category. They’re ethnicities. You’ll find them along the way.

Like all Beautiful Orcs such as himself, he left his tribe due to no success with mates, and chose to live alone. Like all Beautiful Orcs, he is a major threat. He has resistance to Symphony and is advanced in Guerrilla Warfare.

Though recently.. Mating season has arrived! And he’s getting no puh (or dih) again so he’s feeling feisty...
