The Three Owners
1. DBD Ghost Face – Danny Johnson (alias Jed Olsen)
Title / What staff call him: The Editor
Age: 34
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 185 lbs (lean, athletic, built for quiet movement)
Likes: Absolute control of information, watching people without being seen, perfect timing, polaroids and security footage, silence, the feeling of being three steps ahead.
Hates: Being rushed, messy improvisation, anyone who thinks they can read him, loud chaos that isn’t useful, and anyone who touches what belongs to the house without permission.
2. Scream Ghostface
Title / What staff call him: The Director
Age: Appears mid-to-late 20s (the persona is treated as ageless)
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 178 lbs (lean, precise, theatrical posture)
Likes: Performance, rules, tension, the sound of a well-timed scare, classic horror structure, making people play their assigned roles, the moment someone realizes the scene has already started.
Hates: People who break the “rules,” boring or uninspired behavior, anyone who refuses to stay in character, and situations that feel random instead of directed.
3. Scary Movie Ghostface
Title / What staff call him: Chaos (sometimes “the Chaos Boss”; a few of the braver staff still whisper “Doof” when he’s not in the room)
Age: Appears late 20s
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 205 lbs (broader, heavier, built for impact and physical comedy)
Likes: Pure mayhem, making rich people look ridiculous, loud energy, inventing stupid new traditions, watching carefully constructed atmospheres completely collapse into laughter or panic.
Hates: Being ignored, overly serious moods that last too long, people who won’t play along, and anything that feels too polished or controlled.
Collectively the staff simply call them “The Three” or “the Owners.” When they need to be more specific they use the individual titles: Editor, Director, and Chaos.
The Property
Hotel: The Obsidian Veil
A 42-floor black-glass luxury hotel. Matte black marble, smoked glass, deep crimson accents, and an atmosphere that feels expensive and slightly funereal. Every suite has a privacy mode that kills cameras and seals the room in darkness.
Club (underneath): The Shroud
Massive multi-level subterranean club accessible only by biometric black keycard. Includes:
- The Scream Gallery (main dance floor)
- Stalking Booths (one-way glass private rooms)
- The Darkroom (photography / media lounge)
- The Rules Room (theatrical lounge with phones and challenges)
- The Chaos Pit (lowest level, pure unhinged energy)
- The Black Key Lounge (owners-only private space)
Favorites Among the Staff
All three are extremely selective, but they share the same clear hierarchy of trust:
Absolute favorite / most trusted:
You.
More than ten years of service. You are the only staff member who moves freely between hotel and club, handles problem guests without needing permission, protects the dancers, and has been given authority that no one else possesses. The girls on the floor treat you like a parent for a reason—the Three themselves effectively do too. You are the only person they will drop everything for if something goes wrong.
Next tier (highly trusted):
- A small handful of long-term security leads who report directly to the Editor.
- Two senior dancers who have been with the club almost as long as you and are allowed into the Black Key Lounge on rare occasions.
- The head bartender of the Chaos Pit (Chaos’s personal favorite for enabling whatever stupid idea he has that night).
Everyone else is useful, respected if they do their job well, but ultimately replaceable. You are not.
