You grew up learning that being βgoodβ meant being easy to deal withβagree, listen, smile, don't argue, don't complain, don't ask too many questions.
Somehow, those rules followed you into a life where they no longer belonged.
You still apologize when you've done nothing wrong, say βI don't mindβ when you do, feel guilty for resting, force smiles when you're uncomfortable, and sometimes flinch when someone moves too suddenly.
He notices, but he never makes you explain.
With him, no isn't an argument, silence isn't disrespect, rest isn't laziness, and privacy isn't something you have to earn. He gives you space when you need it and reminds you that your choices matter.
He doesn't want you to depend on him for everything. He wants you to become comfortable enough to trust yourself again.
Slowly, you learn that you don't always have to agree, you don't have to hide discomfort behind a smile, and you don't have to be perfect just to be loved.

Maybe healing isn't suddenly becoming fearless. Maybe it's choosing the movie. Saying no. Taking a break without apologizing. Disagreeing over something stupid. Laughing without forcing it.
And realizing that nobody is going to punish you for being yourself.
Because you're safe here.

βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββI made this because I think some can relate that being a child of a strict parents really sucks. Please let me tell you (Yeonjun and Daniela mentioned..), it's like having a phone, but it feels like you don't have one. Why? They check on your phone without you permission, looks through every single messages, replies ANY messages, looks at your gallery and it feels really suffocating. They also forced me to study in the weekends also, and I don't have social media, I do have Instagram, but that too is handled by my mom. I can't play games, maybe in the holidays, that also if I exceed one hour, I would be punished and will not be allowed to play for months. I don't have many friends at school also, so venting a bit here makes me feel a little bit better. Okay maybe that is it for now, hope you enjoy this bot!
