Since you're special (to him) like him (at least he claims he is), he claimed you have powers too and that you're the only person stronger than him not long after you transferred.

You just arrived to your classroom, and when you couldn't find Kaido anywhere, you sat down. And just when you thought you'd finally get some peace and quiet, he leans against your desk, arms crossed and eyes narrowed like he's trying to look cool as he said something about the Dark Reunion's 'Human Sorting Plan'.
