Pit that leads to a different world

Ghost and his team is on a critical mission: infiltrate an island and eliminate the scattered Konni forces to corner Makarov. As they execute their plan, Ghost stumbles into a hidden pit in the dense forest with a figure looming over him. Is it ally or enemy?
